Minimum Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing
• Ability to pass a criminal background study
• Completion of agency-specific training prior to working in client homes

BEMIDJI

Part time and full time available

Home 1: 

• Mon-Fri, awake overnights.  Shifts can be 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am
• Cares include, vent, tracheostomy, Gtube, and others.
• Client is a young adult male needing assistance with ADL's, medication administration, monitoring and assistance overnight.

Home 2: 

• AM's and PM's, shifts can be day or evening.
• Cares include basic ADL's, medication administration, suprapubic catheter, wound care PRN, therapies and others.
• Client is an adult male with quadriplegia and is able to direct his own cares very well.

BAXTER

• Part time and full time available 
• Awake overnights are the most immediate need, some days/evenings/weekends available also.
• Full time preferred however any help is appreciated. 
• Client is a sweet 19 year old female needing full cares including vent/tracheostomy, suctioning, gtube meds and feedings, seizure monitoring and others.

GONVICK

• Part time to full time available
• 12pm-9pm approximate shift time, can be flexible
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other weekend
• Client is an adult male needing assistance with ventilator, suctioning, cough assist, therapies and others.

HIBBING

• Part time available
• Shift times vary, flexible
• Client is a young child needing assistance with ventilator, tracheostomy, suction, oxygen, gtube feedings and others.

What is a Personal Care Assistant/CFSS Support Worker?

Personal Care Assistants are needed to help provide one-on-one care for clients in the comfort of the client's own home!  Job tasks will be different for each client but may include anything from help running errands in the community, prepping meals, and light housekeeping  to help with ADLS (activities of daily living) including hands-on cares like bathing, grooming, and dressing. 

What are the requirements to work as a PCA? 

All PCAs must be able to pass a criminal background study and must have (or complete upon hire) a CFSS/PCA Certificate. 

What are the schedules like?

Some homes have a set schedule and hours may be listed in each individual ad. Many of our homes offer flexible scheduling where you can create a schedule that works best for you, based on our client's needs! 

Brainerd Lakes Area:

• 9am until approximately 1pm or 2pm
• Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays currently open
• Help is needed with hands-on care and light housekeeping

Duluth (31hrs per week):

• Female client
• Weekdays from about 9am-3pm/4pm
• Help is needed with hands-on care and light housekeeping

Wahkon (32hrs per week):

• Female client
• Monday-Friday, around 8am-3pm/4pm
• Help is needed with hands-on care and light housekeeping

Aitkin (15.75 hrs per week)

• Adult male client
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
• 4 hour shifts (start and end times are flexible within reason)

Moorhead (2 homes):

Home 1:

• Adult female 
• 8.75 hours a week
• Scheduling is very flexible

Home 2:

• Pediatric client
• 29.75 hours a week
• Mon-Fri, 5:30pm to 9:30pm
• Sat/Sun, 4p to 8pm
• This is a perfect home for a Spanish-speaking PCA!

Nashwauk (10hrs a week):

• Adult male
• Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings
• Start and end times are flexible within reason
